I love a great action novel in the genre of Tom Clancy or Vince Flynn. I read for information, education, and to try and become a better person. I read for nonspecific reasons, as well. While I have learned a lot from reading about many different things, my reading has also taught me one fundamental fact. Information and knowledge are no substitution for action.

Pay and benefits were, expectedly, much better, but two other factors were equally important in her decision to leave. She had quickly risen to run the design department, and there was no one in her area of expertise that she could learn from. She wanted to acquire more excellent skills and continue to grow but had topped out in that environment.
